I am informing you that your permit request for ____________ at (location) is denied for the following reason:

*  You have a delinquent account with (municipality) for Sewer for which a lien has been issued and recorded in the Court of Common Pleas of Lancaster County, PA, Case #_______.

Please see 53PA C.S. Section 6131 (a)(4), attached

The Code Enforcement Officer has been informed that the sewer charges to (municipality) are currently delinquent and the amount of the delinquency when such notice was provided was $______.  The amount of the delinquency should be verified with (municipality) sewer secretary.  I have not verified that any other taxes, rates or charges are fully paid.

As the property owner, you may request verification in writing from the (municipality) sewer secretary that the property’s fees specific to sewer charges have been satisfied and that the property is in compliance.  Only after you have paid the required fees will you be able to obtain the permit.  

Until the above is satisfied, no work shall commence at (address) that requires a Construction Code Permit and UCC Code Inspection.
